Kadesh Johnathan Clouden is a young Musician, Educator, and aspiring Conductor with an eye for creative precision and various forms of musical expressions. He started his musical journey at the age of nine as a pannist with the Laventille Serenaders Steel Orchestra and has since performed with several Steel Orchestras, namely: Invaders Steel Orchestra and Desperadoes Steel Orchestra. Kadesh holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Performing Arts – Music from the University of Trinidad and Tobago (2020) and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting at Missouri State University (2025) under the tutelage of Dr Christopher Kelts. To date he has worked with the MSU University Symphony (2023-Present), MW Productions’ “Joy Cometh in the Morning” (2022), the National Steel Symphony Orchestra (2019), and The University of Trinidad and Tobago’s Wind and Brass Ensemble (2019) in his capacity as a conductor.

Kadesh held the positions of Administrative Assistant and Social Media Manager at PanNotation Ltd. (2021-Present), Assistant Manager of Shell Invaders Youth Steel Orchestra (2018-2022), Musical Director of the Church of Scotland Trinidad Steel Ensemble (2020-2022), and Steelpan Tutor (2021-2023) at Nelson Street Girls R.C. School, Bethlehem Boys R.C. School, and Rose Hill R.C. School. Over the years he has performed as a featured Pannist with The Bruggeman Gouge Jazz Band (2023), the New York University Steel Orchestra (2019), the UTT Pan Phoenix Japan Tour (2019), the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Trinidad and Tobago under the baton of Dr Roger Henry. He has also performed under the tutelage of Dr Richard Tang Yuk, Dr Mia Gormandy-Benjamin, and Desmond Waithe within the musical landscape of Trinidad and Tobago to name a few.

Kadesh has stage managed several major productions in Trinidad and Tobago namely: the Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister’s Emancipation Celebrations (2022), the Regional Carifesta Opening Ceremony (2019), and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (2017). In his capacity as a Master of Ceremony and Announcer has worked at PanNotation Ltd.’s Virtual Steelpan Conference (2022 & 2023), Etienne Charles’ “The Sound of a People” (2018) and “Folklore Live” (2017) and holds a certification in Radio and Television Broadcaster from the Institute of Broadcasting Careers IBC (2018).

In his pursuit of excellence, Kadesh continues to represent his family and the Trinidad and Tobago Performing Arts Community. Simultaneously showing that good things and great people can come from Laventille and other corners of the beautiful twin island republic, Trini to de bone.
