STEP 1 - REVIEW & REGISTER
STEP 2 - DESCRIBE & UPLOAD YOUR FILE

When uploading a music score, please attach one PDF file per piece with the master/full score to the top, followed by individual parts in the order in which they appear on the master/full score.

If you have not shared a YouTube link with us in your upload form(s), please attach an audio recording of a performance of the music score(s). Please feel free to attach an mp3 audio file extracted from the music writing software used.

What next for my musical scores?

Once PanNotation has received your file(s) and the respective form(s) – listed in Steps 1 and 2 above – we can then begin processing your music score(s).
  1. You will later receive an email from us titled “Moving Forward with PanNotation,” which will contain our “Distribution Information” attachment that shows our recommended price for each piece, the percentage of each sale the arranger/composer will earn, in addition to any other important information.
  2. If you are not the composer of your submitted music score(s), please note that PanNotation will need to acquire proper permissions from the composer. This can take anywhere from three business days to a number of weeks depending on the composer.
  3. Please note that once you have received our “Moving Forward with PanNotation” email, PanNotation will await your emailed response and approval before making any score available on our website.
  4. Once files/descriptions are approved and permission secured, PanNotation will then send you a confirmation email indicating that your music score(s) has been successfully uploaded to our website and would then be available for purchase.

Subscriber Material

All subscribers of PanNotation will have access to our “Subscriber Materials” which include Lead Sheets, Academic Publications, Audio Recordings, Steelband Profiles, Historical Data and Podcasts.

When submitting any subscriber materials, please first understand that these materials will not be offered for sale on our website and will be fully accessible to all of our subscribers. Our aim is to build a vast steelpan library where all profits go directly to our Not-for-Profit arm that funds community steelpan projects.
