MR DUVONE STEWART, THE LEGENDARY STEELPAN ARRANGER
Mr Duvone Stewart is considered to be one of the musical proteges of the legendary Dr Jit Samaroo. This thesis provides an indebt analysis of the development of Duvone Stewart’s arranging skills and how it changed his life and others around him. Steelpan has always been an integral part of Mr Stewart’s life and will always be something which he takes very seriously. In this present year 2018 Panorama competition made him the first Tobagonian arranger to win this category. He, in fact, made a few historical records; the first to win in the medium and large band category in the same year, the first to win five times consecutively in the medium band category and also the first to win in all categories (Single Pan, Small, Medium and Large band).*Written by Author***
